About Hauldar

BUILT FOR CARRIERS.

Hauldar is a broker vetting tool for owner-operators, small fleets, and independent carriers. We're a small team that only ships what we believe in — and this one, we had to build.

Section 01

WHO WE ARE.

Hauldar is a broker vetting tool built for the carrier side of the freight transaction. Every existing service in this space — carrier credit-check platforms, monitoring tools, risk intelligence dashboards — sells to brokers, shippers, factoring companies, or insurance providers. Carriers are the product being sold.

Hauldar is the first tool built the other way around. Owner-operators, small fleets, and independent carriers are our only customer. We publish a public Watchlist of brokers charged, revoked, or under active investigation. We source every entry from public records — DOJ press releases, FMCSA enforcement actions, trade press, and trade associations. And we give every listed broker the right to reply, because facts change.

What Hauldar is not: a rumor board, a competitor to freight bureaus, a factoring service, or an AI risk score. It's a fair, sourced, factual view of the brokers you're being asked to work with.

Section 02

WHERE THE NAME COMES FROM.

Hauldar is haul plus -dar. Haul is what carriers do — it's the core word in the trade, the verb that defines the work. Dar is the suffix from radar: detection, signal, awareness. Put them together and you get the mission in one word: detection built for the people who haul.

We wanted a name that spoke the language of the industry without sounding like every other trucking software brand. Something a driver could say out loud, a dispatcher could recognize instantly, and a broker would know they can't buy their way onto.

Detection built for the people who haul.

The idea for the tool itself came from a friend in trucking. He kept telling us how bad broker fraud has gotten — double brokering, phantom loads, ghost payments. His frustration was that the tools that existed cost too much, treated carriers as an afterthought, or hosted anonymous accusations without any recourse. We looked around and found the same thing everywhere: broker-side platforms with polished websites, carrier-side tools that felt like they'd been designed twenty years ago and never updated.

Hauldar is what we thought a modern carrier-side tool should be.

Section 03

WHO BUILT IT.

Hauldar is built by Asyzygy — a woman-founded studio that ships only what we believe in. We are a small independent operation. No venture capital, no growth-at-all-costs mandate, no obligation to build for the sake of building. Only tools we know will serve our community.

We work slowly and on purpose. Every product Asyzygy launches has to pass a simple test: does it help the person we say it helps, and does it do so without harming them or anyone else in the process. Hauldar passed that test on the first read.

Our team is small. We are dedicated. We're building tools that matter for you.

Section 04

WHAT WE BELIEVE.

Five principles guide every decision at Hauldar. If we ever violate one of them, the product isn't what we said it would be — and we'll hear about it, and we'll fix it.

Public Sources Or Nothing.
Every broker on the Watchlist is documented in a public record. If we can't link to a source, we don't publish the entry.
Right Of Reply For Every Broker.
Every broker listed can request review within seven business days. If we're wrong, we correct it — fast.
No Broker Money. No Shipper Money.
We don't take payment from brokers for placement, removal, or advertising. Carriers are our only paying customer.
Fair Pricing, Always.
Our prices reflect what a small owner-operator can afford — not what an enterprise buyer will pay.
Your Searches Are Yours.
We don't share carrier lookup data with brokers, shippers, or third parties. What you check on Hauldar stays on Hauldar.
Section 05

WHAT'S COMING.

Hauldar is being built in the open, one piece at a time. We ship a thing, we make sure it works, we listen to what carriers actually need, and then we ship the next thing. Here's what's on the map.

Section 06 — A Personal Note

NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER.

I've known people affected by the lack of the right kinds of tools in this industry. Friends. Family. Enough people that it stopped feeling like anecdotes and started feeling like a pattern.

Every one of them had the same story — a broker who didn't pay, a system that made the recovery harder than the loss, tools that were either too expensive, too broker-friendly, or too outdated to help. When I looked at what already existed, I couldn't find anything I would recommend to the people I love.

So we're building it.

My goal with Asyzygy has always been to only build things that serve others. Not build for the sake of shipping. Not build to chase a market. Build because someone needs it and no one has done it right yet. Hauldar is one of those.

If it's not valuable, it's not worth building. If it's not right, it's not worth shipping.

We're going to keep listening. If you have suggestions, share them. If you want to see something built that isn't here yet, tell us. If Hauldar has helped you avoid a bad load or protect a paycheck, send us a note — we call those the love notes, and they keep us going.

We read every message. All of them. That's a promise.

— Founder, Asyzygy
